MAP’s 10th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival – On Tour features an inspiring curated program packed with 12 films and two nights of different programming at two new venues, which we are excited to share with MAP members and the community! This year’s theme, Mobilize, is set in motion, featuring films about wildlife and keeping it wild, how advocacy creates action when it comes to preserving natural resources, the impacts of climate change, and what’s at stake, and outdoor and female empowerment films. It’s a family-friendly program each night, making it the perfect outing for a family or a date night!
Get your tickets here!
This year, MAP has two ticket options: General Admission is $30, and the MAP Membership ticket is $50, which includes a $20 tax deductible donation + General Admission to the Festival. All tickets include FREE popcorn!
With only 100 seats at each venue, we will sell out quickly, so don’t wait to buy your tickets! This year, both our amazing venue hosts will be serving up tasty drinks, dinner, and snacks, so be sure to arrive early, grab your seat, and order dinner and drinks before the films start at 7 pm. We will also have DJs before the films, MAP giveaways, and access to our online virtual auction opening on May 1st for one week, with proceeds supporting MAP’s mission-driven work.

Come out for some Country Line Dancing. Hayli + Lily will lead some line dancing lessons and play some of your favorite line dances and country songs. $10 cover. Please bring cash (preferred) or credit card.

“We opened our second location in Truckee California’s historic downtown in June 2017 to offer another venue to enjoy our beers, along with live music and a creative food menu. Alibi Truckee is a comfortable, flexible space for people to gather and relax. We are a family-friendly establishment and welcome minors. Dogs are allowed on leash in our outdoor beer garden (weather permitting) but not indoors.”

FREE SHOW ALERT!!
Come join Everyday Outlaw to celebrate the release of their LP ‘Born From The Fire’.
EO will be performing the album in its entirety as well as many other favorites. Vinyl copies of Born From The Fire will be available to purchase as well as other merch!

When Bob Log III was a child, he lost his left hand in a boating accident. It was soon replaced with a monkey paw, and a new guitar style was born.
“It’s my own personal style, see,” Log says, “the paw moves much quicker than a normal hand, so my real hand has to flop around a lot to compensate.”
And what about the helmet?
“What helmet?” he asks, his voice muffled by a helmet.
Bob Log III is an enigma wrapped in a riddle and riding a wave of futile guessing and searching as people around the globe are trying to figure out just one thing. Who is this man? Rumours have started to circulate that he is anyone from Tom Waits to one of the Strokes.
“He’s Bob Log, an enigma.” a spokesperson told NME. “He’s not one of The Strokes. None of them have monkey paws.”
If that doesn’t intrigue you, we don’t know what will.

Come at 7:30 PM to enjoy Strange Vine!
More about Strange Vine:
Strange Vine’s earthy, energetic music is a fusion of blues, psychedelic, and traditional American rock. It’s a sound born of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains, from two men who were raised there. Ian Blesse plays drums and Rhodes piano (simultaneously), while Toby Cordova fleshes out the songs with a rotating arsenal of guitars (including one made from a cigar box). Both contribute vocals toward a rich, layered sound that’s greater than the sum of its parts.
Strange Vine has shared the stage with acts like Cage The Elephant, Band Of Skulls, Los Lobos, The Growlers, Delta Spirit, Lord Huron, B.B. King, Robin Trower, Kurt Vile, The Record Company, FUZZ, White Denim, Pokey LaFarge, Meat Puppets, Reignwolf, The Bones Of JR Jones, Dead Meadow…….
