Join Alibi Ale Works and Sierra Avalanche Center for the season opener of our State of the Snowpack Series.
These events will dig deeper into snow and avalanche science, so you can better understand what’s happening with our regional snowpack.
In order help you get prepared for the season, reps from Mt Rose and Mammut will be available to function test your Barryvox transceiver — so bring your beacon and fresh batteries.
Sierra Avalanche Center will discuss how weak layers form in the snowpack and how to track them as the season progresses.
Of course, we will also have food and drinks by Alibi and raffle prizes.
