We love throwing a good Oktoberfest party, but this year we decided it was time to expand the party, partner with some other local businesses and create Truckee’s first ever Oktoberfest: a community-wide, weekend long Oktoberfest party in downtown Truckee! We’re doing this Truckee-style, which means that in addition to drinking locally made Oktoberfest lager out of 1 liter steins and eating irresponsible amounts of German food, we’ve got hikes and yoga, coffee and wine, an artisan vendor fair, and more. And we have a Digital Passport with all the activities and you can earn points and prizes for participating in as many activities as you can fit in!
Main Event – Oktoberfest Party at Alibi Truckee – Sat 10/10, 12-6pm
12-5pm Beer tasting with all five Truckee-area breweries
12:30-3:30pm Live Music + Beer Song Singalongs
1–1:30pm Brat Toss
1:30–2pm Pretzel Relay
2–2:30pm Pretzel Eating Contest
2:30–3pm Stein Holding
3-4pm Best Dressed and Facial Hair Competition (down Jibboom St at Tahoe Mtn Life)
