DESCRIPTION:Truckee Silent Movies presents the 1928 classic\,  "Steamboat 
 Bill\, Jr\," featuring Buster Keaton as a college kid and Ernest Torrence 
 as his no-nonsense Father.  Shot on location in Sacramento\, it features 
 live\, working steamboats and the Sacramento River itself posing as the Mi
 ghty Mississippi.   The movie is full of laughs and thrills\, including 
 what is considered Buster Keaton's most famous and dangerous stunt.   We
  will also be showing scenes from "Steamboat Willie\,"  a short film insp
 ired by Steamboat Bill\, in which Walt Disney first introduced Micky Mouse
 .\nAccompanying the movie will be live music and sound effects - and - a d
 ixieland band!\nNo cover\, like usual.  But tips are deeply appreciated.\
